The coil consists of a wire (or mesh) and some wick material and is responsible for heating up the e-liquid to produce dense and flavoursome clouds.

But when is it time to change? This is all dependant on the device, coil resistance, heat levels, e-liquid, and frequency of use. It’s impossible to cover all of these without knowing the specifics of each individual vaping advocate. However, there are several signs which indicate that it’s time to replace your coils.

1. Burnt Taste
