What is DIY Vape E-liquid? 

DIY vape e-liquids allow you to customise your vaping experience by mixing your own flavours, controlling the PG and VG ratio, and adjusting the nicotine strength. It’s a cost-effective and creative way to tailor your own vape juice to suit your personal preference. DIY Kits – What’s Included? 

Our DIY kits include a range of VG and PG base e-liquids, available as 100% solutions or pre-mixed in 50/50 or 70/30 VG PG blends, with bottle sizes ranging from 100ml to 1 litre. With over 70 flavoured concentrates available, you can create your own flavour blends. If you’re looking to add nicotine to your e-liquid, these kits include a range of NicIt Up 10ml nic shots, pre-blended in different VG/PG ratios. The kits also include accessories to assist you with mixing e-liquids, such as syringes, bottles and needle tips.

Ingredients

• Propylene Glycol (PG) – A thin, odourless liquid that carries flavour well and provides a stronger throat hit. 
• Vegetable Glycerine (VG) – A thicker, slightly sweet liquid that produces dense vapour clouds. 
• Nicotine (Optional) – Gives the option to be added in freebase or nic salt form. 
• Flavour Concentrates – These are food-grade flavourings specifically designed for vaping, available in a range of profiles.

How to Mix Your Own E-liquid 

When it comes to creating your own DIY vape e-liquid mix, this guide will assist you with the steps needed to create a flavourful blend. 

1. Decide on your recipe – Choose your flavour concentrates and desired PG/VG ratio. 
2. Measure your ingredients – Use syringes or a scale to measure PG, VG, nicotine and flavourings accurately. 
3. Mix & shake – Combine all ingredients in a bottle and shake well to blend the mixture. 
4. Steeping (Optional) – Some might want to let the e-liquid sit for a few days, as this can improve flavours, especially if mixing tobacco or dessert flavours.

Mixing by Volume 

1. Choose your specified e-liquid mixing bottle and add the required volume of flavour concentrate using a pipette or syringe. 
2. Add the amount of PG & VG diluent you require using the 10ml syringe & blunt needle or into a measuring cylinder. 
3. Choose and add your nicotine using the 10ml syringe & blunt needle or into a measuring cylinder. 
4. Replace the dropper & cap on the e-liquid mixing bottle. Shake thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.  

 

Mixing by Weight 

1. Place your empty bottle on the scales and then press tare. 
2. Add the required weight of flavourings, then press tare. 
3. Add the required weight of diluents, then press tare. 
4. Add the required weight of nicotine. 
5. Add the cap to your bottle and shake thoroughly.   

Can You Make Vape Juice Without PG & VG? 

PG and VG are essential components in e-liquid, so no vape juice cannot be used without PG and VG. The ratio of these diluents can be controlled when mixing your own e-liquid. Adding more PG to the vape mix can enhance a stronger throat hit and give a more intense flavour, whilst adding more VG creates thicker clouds of vapour and is ideal for sub-ohm vaping.
