E-Liquid Manufacturing Process
Here at Vampire Vape, we manufacture all of our e-liquids in our warehouse in Lancashire. This means that all of our e-liquids are made right here in the UK. We’ve created a step-by-step guide of our e-liquid manufacturing process to give you an insight into the journey your e-liquid will take before you buy.
Ingredients:
Our Vampire Vape mixologists use raw materials to create an e-liquid. They work to create flavours that our customers want as well as using their own imagination to create new and exciting flavours.
- Base: All e-liquids start with a base mix of 2 elements: vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). The ratio of these two ingredients can change depending on the desired outcome. The most common blends are 50/50 and 70/30.
- Flavour Concentrates: Concentrates are added to create flavour. These are a blend of top-secret ingredients. Some of the concentrates that we use in our popular liquids such as Heisenberg are also available as flavour concentrates so you can have a go at making your own.
- Nicotine: Nicotine comes from tobacco leaves. Nicotine content in the UK can only be sold between 0 and 20mg/ml.
Production:
A lot of our production process is carried out in our clean room. We have an ISO grade clean room on site which is a controlled environment.
- Procurement: All Vampire Vape e-liquid is manufactured right here in the UK. Our ingredients are sourced from within the UK and Europe. All of our products have full traceability and have to adhere to strict TPD regulations. You can rest assured that we only use quality ingredients.
- Weighing: The ingredients are weighed according to each ‘recipe’. Our staff must wear masks, lab coats and hair covers throughout the whole process to reduce the risk of contamination.
- Mixing: The ingredients are then mixed either by hand or by machine.
- Filling: After the raw materials of the e-liquid has been mixed, the e-liquid is then poured into individual bottles. This process at Vampire Vape is carried out by bespoke machinery under the watchful eye of our clean room operatives.
- Labelling: Bottles are labelled in the last step. This label has all of the ingredients, regulations and compliance details as well as our brand name and e-liquid name. Our labels also have a batch number that has full traceability of all of the ingredients.
- Packaging: Once the bottles have been labelled, they are checked to ensure that they are to a high standard. Then they are packaged in boxes ready to be stored in our warehouse and shipped out to customers all over the world.
- Quality Control: All of our products must go through important control testing. This includes visual control, composition analysis, flavour testing and nicotine content testing. This is all to make sure that we keep our e-liquids to a high standard ready to be sold.
The end product is a fully TPD compliant e-liquid that is labelled and sealed in a child-resistant cap.
