good item just dont last very long :/

The Clapton coils are great, will be ordering again.

After reading Jason's previous review and also thinking about how much liquid my 0.5 was getting through, I decided to buy the 2.0 coils.
I can also confirm that this comes with a thinner "drip tip" which I now use instead of the huge "mouth to lung" sized tip that comes with the iSubG tank. This is far better, and actually makes the liquid taste better even with the old 2.0 coil.
Unfortunately my experience with the 2.0 coil is somewhat mixed, as I first swapped it over, and then had awful problems with it burning what seemed like the cotton and not the liquid, even after leaving it for a good 15 minutes to soak.
I then took it apart, put it back together again (even though it initially appeared to be sat in the unit fine) and it then worked perfectly since.
My mod is a Cool Fire IV Plus, and I have to run the unit at 12 Watt's, as anything over that (the coils can be run at 10 - 16) seems to create a burning taste.
On the plus side I am using an awful lot less liquid than before, and the battery is lasting lots longer as well.
I may decide to go back to the 0.5 coils as the taste/juiciness of the liquid was a bit better with it, but I will see how it goes.
I can only assume I had an issue with the coil as it was misplaced or something, or perhaps I should have pulled some of the cotton out from the coil before installing (a friend has suggested this since).
Hope this helps others make a decision that suits their needs, I cannot fault vampirevapes as their pricing and fast delivery times seem very good indeed.

Replaced the original 0.5 coil (bad taste after 1 day) with the 0.5 clapton: SO MUCH BETTER!!
. Only 4 stars due to the poor quality of the original 0.5 coil that came with the tank.
. And I suspect the clapton won't last that long either.
. So I just ordered the RBA to get to the self-building ;-)

they seem to be good just soak quite slow so u get a few dry hits

Bought the 0.5ohm coils. Don't buy from sites like Ebay and Amazon as they can be fake. These ones are 100% legit and work perfectly. Have been using these in my ISubG Will be buying these again.

Coils burning out within a couple of days

Previous iSub 0.5 coils came with a clear o-ring and would last just over a week to 2 weeks, my latest order had black o-rings so not sure if these are a new version or not but 2 packs of 5 coils with each coil lasting me just under 2 days is very poor. Very bad taste and burning using the same liquids as before when I had no problems. Not sure whether to buy this again.

Been using the 2.0 ohm variant of these for about three years now and have yet to receive a single dud from Vampire Vape. VV are also the only place I can find the 2.0 ohm ones, so thanks VV.
I like a cool vape (I hate sub ohm) so I use these on a low wattage (6.5) and gradually increase that if the flavour starts to die off. Each of these coils lasts me a minimum of a month using a 50/50 pg/vg/ mixed juice. Excellent item.

I love the iSub tanks. But I was getting fed up with how much I was spending on e-liquid, so when I saw the 2.0 ohm coils I thought I'd give them a try. They come with a small drip tip in the box, which is good because you can't mouth to lung with the drip tips that come with the iSubs. The coils produce a lot less vapour and have restricted air flow (which is to be expected). But the flavour is still great and in the time the 0.5 coils would've used a whole tank, these 2.0 coils have only used under a half!
